How Billing & Renewals Work

Understanding how billing cycles, renewals, and payments work helps you stay in control of your subscription. OwlCloudHost uses a simple, transparent billing system that supports multiple payment methods and gives you full visibility into your charges.

🧾 Billing Cycle Overview

Your billing cycle depends on the plan you choose:

• Monthly plans renew every 30 days

• Yearly plans renew every 12 months

Your renewal date is always shown inside Billing & Plans.

💳 Accepted Payment Methods

OwlCloudHost supports secure payments through:

• Stripe

• PayPal

• Cash App Pay

• US Bank Account (ACH)

You can update or change your payment method at any time.

🔄 Automatic Renewals

All paid plans renew automatically to prevent service interruption.

During renewal:

• Your saved payment method is charged

• Your plan continues without downtime

• Your storage and features remain active

If you prefer manual renewal, you can cancel auto‑renew and renew manually before the expiration date.

⚠️ Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

• You will receive an email notification

• OwlCloudHost will retry the payment automatically

• You will have a grace period to update your payment method

During the grace period:

• Your files remain safe

• Uploading may be paused if your plan expires

• You can restore full access by updating your payment method

No files are deleted due to failed payments.

📅 Viewing Your Billing Details

Inside Billing & Plans, you can view:

• Your next renewal date

• Your current plan

• Your payment method

• Your billing history

• Your invoices and receipts

This helps you keep track of your subscription and past payments.

🧾 Invoices & Receipts

Every successful payment generates an invoice you can download.
Invoices include:

• Plan name

• Billing period

• Amount charged

• Payment method used

• Transaction ID

These are accessible anytime in your billing history.

❌ Canceling Auto‑Renewal

You can turn off auto‑renew at any time.

When auto‑renew is disabled:

• Your plan remains active until the end of the billing period

• You will not be charged again

• You can renew manually or upgrade later

Your files remain safe even if your plan expires.

If your plan expires due to cancellation or failed renewal:

• Your files remain accessible

• Uploading and importing are paused if you exceed free storage limits

• You can upgrade again at any time to restore full functionality
